The Director Industrial Communication Gateway is a ruggedized single board computer designed for industrial data communications applications. The powerful but compact Linux-based system facilitates data acquisition, storage, transmission, and protocol conversion throughout your entire industrial data network.

 

Offering a wide selection of industry standard and legacy protocols, the Director can gather data from almost any field device and deliver it to your Enterprise data systems. With a simple to use graphical configuration interface (ACE) combined with one of the industry's best IEC-61131 application programming languages, the Director can be programmed for most applications. Also equipped with 32/64 Meg Flash and 64/128 Ram, 2 ethernet and 2 USB ports. The Director supports several I/O expansion board options enabling the unit to be easily customized to many field applications. The Director easily interfaces with brokers, most commonly used SCADA host systems, and Elecsys offers the optional "Director HCP2" (host communication processer) and the "DIrector OPC" software packages greatly expanding the capabilities of your entire field data system.
