Elecsys Corporation was incorporated in Kansas in 1991.
In February 2000, the Company acquired DCI, Inc., an Electronic Manufacturing Services
provider and Liquid Crystal Display ("LCD") manufacturer.
In December 2002, the Company acquired the assets and technology of Crystaloid Technologies, an original pioneer in the development
of LCD technology and a significant competitor in the LCD business.
In November 2004, the Company acquired the assets and technology of Network
Technologies Group, LLC, an innovator of Internet-based, wireless remote monitoring.
In September 2007, the Company acquired the assets and technology of Radix Corporation, a leading provider of ultra-rugged
mobile computing and printing devices.
In May 2009, the Company consolidated all
of its operating subsidiaries and specialty brands into the unified Elecsys Corporation
global organization.
In June 2009, the Company acquired the assets and technology of MBBS, S.A.,
a Swiss developer of specialized RFID technology for ultra-rugged applications.
In January 2010, the Company acquired the assets and technology of SensorCast, LLC, a provider of integrated data collection, telemetry and reporting solutions to the pipeline and energy production industries."
