President and Chief Executive Officer
Karl Gemperli has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Elecsys Corporation since July 2003, having joined the Company as President of one of its subsidiaries in February 2000. Prior to joining Elecsys, Karl served in corporate executive positions at Airport Systems International and Goodrich Aerospace. Karl has over 25 years of electronic system design, manufacturing, and corporate management experience. Karl earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University. He is a member of both the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
Chief Operating Officer
Michael Morgan joined Elecsys as Vice President of Manufacturing in March 2000 and advanced to the role of Chief Operating Officer in October 2007. Prior to joining Elecsys, Mike served as an executive at Goodrich Aerospace for more than eleven years, last serving as Director of Manufacturing. After serving ten years in specialized technical roles with the United States Army, Mike launched his professional career as an engineer and manager designing radar, communication, and building automation systems. Mike has over 30 years of electronic design, management, and operations experience.
Chief Financial Officer
Todd Daniels has been Chief Financial Officer of Elecsys since October 2002, having previously joined the Company as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining Elecsys, Todd was Manager of Corporate Forecasting and Reporting for Epiq Systems, Inc., a publicly traded developer of technology-based products and services for the legal and fiduciary service industries. Prior to that, Todd held various accounting and financial management positions with Honeywell International, Inc. Todd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Kansas and is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of public accounting and private industry accounting experience.
Chief Technology Officer
Daniel Hughes became Chief Technology Officer of Elecsys in May 2014 after serving as Vice President of Engineering and Director of Product Development since he joined the Company in 2007. Prior to joining Elecsys, Dan was a systems design engineer and project manager for Schaefer & Associates, an electronic product design firm, where he was responsible for developing electronic systems used in a wide variety of industries. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University.
Vice President – Sales
Brendan Fallis joined Elecsys as Vice President of Sales in December 2015. Previously, Brendan served for over 7 years as Region President for Verizon Wireless in the Midwest with responsibility for a $2 billion annual P&L. Prior to that, Brendan served in roles of increasing responsibility covering over 12 states within Verizon, including Director of Business Sales and Director of Wireless Data. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College, a Masters of Business Administration from Norwich University, and completed programs at both Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School. He has served on the boards of a number of charitable organizations.
