Mike joined Elecsys as Vice President of Manufacturing in March 2000 and advanced to the role of Chief Operating Officer in October 2007. Prior to joining Elecsys, Mike served as an executive at Goodrich Aerospace for more than eleven years, last serving as Director of Manufacturing. After serving ten years in specialized technical roles with the United States Army, Mike launched his professional career as a design engineer and development manager of radar, communication, and building automation systems. Mike has over 30 years of electronic design, management, and operations experience.
VICE PRESIDENT - ENGINEERING
Matt joined Elecsys in 2014 and was promoted to Vice President of Engineering in 2016 after serving as Director of Product Development. Prior to joining Elecsys, Matt served as Hardware Engineering Manager at Digital Ally, a manufacturer of video electronics for the law enforcement market, where he led the development of video electronics, optical devices, and wireless communication systems. Prior to that role, Matt served as a Design Engineer at Garmin International, where he designed marine radar systems. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
VICE PRESIDENT – SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Mark joined Elecsys in 2012 and was promoted to Vice President of Software Development in 2016 after serving as Director of Software Development and Chief Software Architect. Prior to joining Elecsys, Mark served as Technical Director at Thomson Reuters, a global provider of real-time financial news, information, and business analytics, where he headed the development of the Reuters Plus service. In this role, Mark was responsible for all development activities for Reuters Premier Wealth Management products supporting a client base of over 70,000 wealth management professionals. Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Ottawa University and has over 30 years of experience designing software systems.
Nick joined Elecsys in October 2016. Prior to arriving at Elecsys, Nick served as Controller and Vice President of Finance of two subsidiaries of Nucor Corporation, the nation’s largest steel producer. He also held various finance leadership positions at First Student, the largest provider of school transportation in the United States. Over the course of his career, Nick completed multiple business combinations and led various efficiency improvement initiatives across the United States and Canada. Nick is a Certified Public Accountant and received Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University, Bloomington.
DIRECTOR – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Chuck joined Elecsys in September 2015 and is responsible for new business development and Elecsys product management, which includes strategic planning, concept development and go-to-market strategies and execution. Prior to joining Elecsys, Chuck served as Director of Mobile & Portable Navigation Device Marketing at Garmin International for 8 years where he led significant business development wins in the OEM, motorcycle, wireless carrier and rental car markets for Garmin. Chuck has over 20 years of combined business and product development experience. Chuck earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Kansas and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
