Industrial Communications Sales Professional

We are currently looking for a Sales Professional for our Industrial Communication Service Group. The Sales Professional is responsible for executing the sales strategy, initiating contacts and building long term relationships with current and new customers that would utilize Elecsys’ (M2M) Secure Industrial Communications suite of products. The successful candidate must be able to identify a customer’s needs, understand the customer’s communications/ IT requirements regarding interfacing with field devices, and our solutions to address those needs. Sales Professionals are integral players in achieving the company's sales, revenue and profitability goals.

Job Duties:

• Develops and manages new major client accounts
• Acquires and maintains a detailed knowledge of market and industry direction, competitors and customer strategies
• Attend exhibitions at national and regional industry trade shows
• Systematically prospects, qualifies and wins new business
• Assists in establishing annual and monthly individual sales objectives in coordination with the Company's long-term strategic plans
• Manages annual and monthly personal sales goals and maintains accurate forecasts

Skills:

• Excellent, proven planning skills to manage the strategic development of customer accounts, with the ability to execute at high levels of success
• Ability to persuasively describe past sales successes in new market environments
• Excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners
• Outstanding consultative selling skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a results-driven, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge and proven sales success in M2M gateway communications, measurement & control field devices, IT, and/or cyber security is desired

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, certification in Cyber Security or related field, or comparable experience
• Five plus years sales experience in comparable industries
• Significant computing skills (Microsoft family)
• Travel requirements of 30% to 40%

Electronics Design and Manufacturing Sales Professional

We are currently looking for a Sales Professional in our Electronic Design and Manufacturing Services (EDMS) group who is eager to execute our sales strategy, initiate contact and build long term relationships with new potential clients. The successful candidate must be able to identify the client’s needs, understand the client’s business processes, and sell our services and solutions to meet those needs.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for the development of major new client accounts for Elecsys Corporation’s Electronic Design and Manufacturing Services (EDMS) group in the Central US region
• Develop key customer relationships and implement strategies to expand the company’s EDMS customer base
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline
• Network internally and externally to find customer contacts
• Become an industry expert, capable of serving as a value-added consultant to customers on services provided by the EDMS group
• This position will be based in the Olathe, KS facility

Requirements:

• At least 5 years sales experience in comparable industries
• A strong desire to win
• Proven track record selling premium products and services based on value
• Thorough knowledge of business processes and operations
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and all departments in a results-driven, team oriented organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A general understanding of electronics and electronic manufacturing processes
• Must be technically astute, an engineering background is a plus
• Moderate travel within a 250 mile radius of the Kansas City metropolitan area

Production Support Technician

We are currently looking for a Production Support Technician. The Technician will be responsible for utilizing machine shop equipment in modification of fiberglass/plastic panels and enclosures, creating fixturing for use in assembly of product, applying conformal coating/encapsulant on electronic PC boards by hand or with automated equipment. Perform basic electronic testing of product using in house automated systems, maintenance of production equipment and facilities equipment. Use of pneumatic hand tools in production environment.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with shop equipment such as drill presses, belt sanders, and hand mills
• Experience with mechanical design. Ability to follow mechanical drawings and procedures
• Good hand/eye coordination. Able to perform repetitive movement
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Detailed oriented
• Good driving record
• Handling of fiberglass/plastic materials in a shop environment
• Moving and manipulation of assemblies weighting up to 20 lbs.

Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

We currently have multiple openings for Electronic Hardware Design Engineers who are well versed in industrial hardware design.  The candidate for this position will be responsible for the complete project.  The candidate must be able to thrive in a team environment and display a passion for their work.

Job Requirements:

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• At least three years of experience in industrial circuit board level hardware design and troubleshooting
• Ability to manage the development of product hardware, maintain schedules, and support of existing products
• Desire to take ownership of all aspects of project development
• Ability to work on multiple projects

Desired:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Some experience with RFID, GPRS and GPS designs
• Experience in product development
• Industrial, fail safe design
